PLANNED GIVING
Would you be interested in giving to the Nursing2007 Foundation while at the same time meeting your needs for current income? You can, through the use of a Planned Gift. These include charitable gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts (explained below), as well as charitable bargain sales and bequests.
Planned Gifts let you give to the Nursing2007 Foundation, get a substantial tax deduction as well as an income for one or two lives or for a term of years you choose.
A charitable gift annuity offers fixed payments for one or two lives, or for a term of years. You get an immediate tax deduction for a portion of the gift, and a portion of each payment is tax-free. The portion of the gift not used for payments benefits the Nursing2007 Foundation.
A charitable remainder trust lets you and/or other beneficiaries get income for life (or for a term of up to 20 years). You also get a substantial tax deduction. You may choose an annuity trust (pays a fixed dollar amount) or a unitrust (pays a fixed percentage of the Trust’s assets).
For more information on Planned Giving, and how you can benefit Nursing2007 Foundation through the use of a Planned Gift, call Kevin Brown at (800) 822-6711.
The Nursing2007 Foundation operates independently from Nursing2007 journal and its publisher, Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, a Wolters Kluwer company. The journal has donated resources and funding to the foundation. The Nursing2007 Foundation is an operating project under the Trust Counselors Network, a subsidiary of the Trust Counselors Network, Inc. (TCN), which was formed as a Pennsylvania not-for–profit corporation.
